The ShopAlive platform permits any merchant to build and publish attractive and highly-engaging panoramic and 3D Web storefronts, and to manage all inventory, transaction and customer marketing/management aspects of a retail business.

It offers a Web and mobile-friendly consumer-facing interface for a merchant's product catalog and showcase which encourages exploration and discovery, as the consumer would experience upon entering a "real" commercial space.

Consumers are also customers. ShopAlive permits a merchant to build relationships with customers, to attract time and to promote new items to them under conditions which the customer chooses.

But our story does not stop here. End users who like to build new Web sites using 3D or panoramic images, can also use our authoring software PanoShop, to explore their creativity and publish Web sites with panoramic and 3D interfaces.

Three part system

PanoShop	Server	Mobile applications
Merchants and panographers begin with PanoShop, the Rich Internet Application designed for quick and easy authoring and management of the custom panoramic retail space on the ShopAlive platform.	The ShopAlive hosted server is where the metadata is stored and updated immediately when the user makes a modification or adds information using the PanoShop application. The media files (panoramic images) are all stored on the Amazon S3 cloud for high performance and availability. All access to the server/backend is, of course, contingent on the bandwidth which is available between the user and the servers.	ShopAlive's mobile applications are available for consumers to use on their SmartPhones. Currently, we have the beta version for Symbian phones, however, Android and Windows Mobile are going to be available soon. The iPhone version of the application will be available upon release of the iPhone 4 OS and will be published on the AppStore.
